Cermak at Birdhouse

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Birdhouse last Friday, we had a great time. Here are some photos from the show…

Steve Deutsch from Woodwinds, Etc. heard a party and dropped by for a flute solo. Awesome.

Show at Berkeley Rustic Birdhouses

Come by Berkeley Birdhouses on Friday, July 23 at 9:00 PM to check out some birdhouses and some music. We’re setting up in the street for one last performance before we head into the studio that next week. Best part: It’s directly across the street from the North Berkeley BART station at 1733 Sacramento Street.

TT in t- Two Weeks(ish)

Well, we’re gonna record… something… in about two weeks time. This could become anything from a 3-song EP to a 8 or 9-song LP (probably less likely). It’s going to be exciting as hell and we’ll be posting more-frequent updates when we’re underway.

Last Minute: Cermak* @ SoCha Saturday Night

*and as last minute things go, I’ll be sans drums and guitar as both Paul and Eric are out of the area this weekend.

But the big news this weekend is the Mission Arts & Performing Project. Described in their words… “The Mission Arts & Performance Project is a bi-monthly, multidisciplinary, intercultural community arts event that takes place in the South-East neighborhood of the Mission District of San Francisco.”

So we’ll (I’ll) be a SoCha Cafe Saturday, April 3 at 7:00 PM. Bring your own inner drummer, bassist, guitarist and whatever other instrumentation you prefer…

SoCha Cafe is located at 3235 Mission St in SF

From New Band to Already Recording an Album

We’ve recently set dates for recording an album this summer, our first (of course). Paul and I have been playing off and on for years, so it’s been something we’ve talked about for a while. We’re all really looking forward to it, and so should you!
